Our Travel Planning Process
Step 1: Happy Travel Dance

Step 2: Contact Us
Contact The Wanderful Gourmet here to schedule your Complimentary Travel Planning Consultation phone call. You’ll either schedule on our website or be sent a link to schedule a time for us to discuss your trip’s “must-haves.” We promise it won’t take long! We’ll get to know you, your travel style, and share how we work so that you can select the service level that best fits your needs.
Step 3: Get to Know Each Other
At the time of your scheduled meeting time, we will call you.
During our call, we’ll explore what’s motivating you to travel.
We’ll take the time to get to know each other better by delving into your desired travel locations, adventure style, past experiences, and culinary interests and any dietary needs and/or restrictions. We’ll clarify your expectations, understand whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group, and discuss your budget, the number of guests you plan to invite, travel dates, as well as our planning process and the tailored services we offer for you and your guests.
Step 4: Jump in & Hire Us – Moving Forward
Once we both agree to move forward and you decide to jump in and work with The Wanderful Gourmet, we will email you our Travel Planning & Research Agreement via email for your review, payment, and electronic signature. After we reach an agreement and you submit a small research and design fee, The Wanderful Gourmet will promptly begin crafting your ideal trip!
Step 5: Research, Craft, & Propose
For our Signature and Ultimate Service Planning levels, we prioritize your desires by researching and curating a list of ideal destinations and activities tailored to your interests. You’ll receive exclusive group benefits, personalized proposals with selected destinations, exciting experiences, and detailed recommendations. If you prefer to take the lead, our Voyager Service Planning level allows you to manage your accommodations while we provide unforgettable activities and unique experiences designed just for you. Your satisfaction is our top priority!
Step 6: Booking Confirmation & Finalization
Once you’re excited about the trip we’ve crafted, we’ll begin the booking process for your Travel – Adventure – Culinary – Getaway. Based on your selected level of service, you can choose which level of support for your personalized trip. Rest assured, we’ll support you throughout the entire process, from booking with us to throughout your journey.
Step 7: Prepare For Your Adventure!
Based on your selected level of service, we may include tour bookings, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and additional self-guided tips. We put emphasis on local and cultural activities within all of our itineraries.
Shortly before your Adventure or Group Travel vacation, we will share your final customized itinerary and travel documents (confirmations, important contact information, destination information, etc.), and will advise you of any changes, additions, or anything you may need to be aware of.
